Walk-Through Light Displays
Follow the trail through thousands of lights, decorated scenes, wrapped trees, and holiday displays spread throughout the Romantic Moon property. The walking format lets guests get closer to the displays, stop where they want, and enjoy the details instead of simply passing them by from inside a vehicle.
Light Tunnels
One of the most immersive parts of the Festival of Lights is walking beneath glowing light tunnels. They create some of the brightest and most memorable areas of the trail and make a great stop for family photos, couples, and anyone looking for that classic Christmas light experience.
Santa & Holiday Fun
Santa is part of the Festival of Lights experience on select dates, giving families another reason to make an evening of their visit. Kids can enjoy the excitement of seeing Santa while families explore the lights and other holiday displays throughout the property.
Animated & Festive Displays
The trail includes more than strands of lights. Guests will encounter animated decorations, inflatables, Christmas scenes, and other seasonal displays along the route. Different styles and displays throughout the property help keep the walk interesting from beginning to end.
Hot Chocolate & S’mores
Cold Minnesota nights are part of the Christmas experience, so there are opportunities to warm up along the way. Enjoy hot chocolate and gather around the fire for s’mores while taking a break from the trail and spending a little more time together.
Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides
Add something extra to your Festival of Lights visit with a horse-drawn carriage ride through a designated route on the property. Carriage rides offer a different way to experience the winter setting and are especially popular for families, couples, and special occasions.
